Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published employment notice in the newspapers and on its official website for the recruitment of constables in CAPFs and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. This is the big recruitment by SSC as there are more than 22000 vacancies open. SSC has given detail guidelines and instruction for the candidates to apply for the posts. We are here giving the main detail which is required for the candidates to know before submitting application form. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will held exam in the year 2013 to recruit the following staff. In this post, you can find all the important information about

Name and Number of Vacancies: SSC has attached the Appendix ‘A’, Appendix ‘B’ and Appendix ‘C’ with the notification to mention the state wise open vacancies. There are total 22006 vacancies in all the states of India for constables (GD) in BSF, CISF, ITBPF, SSB and CRPF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. Age limitation, qualification and experience:
  • Age: The age of the candidates should be between 18 to 23 years as on 1st Jan, 2013.
  • Qualification: The minimum qualification for both the positions is 10th(Matriculation) as on 11th Jan, 2013.
  • Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is also required to eligible for the posts
Application Procedure
  • Fee: The fee for the general category is Rs.50 payable by CRF stamp or online payment or SBI Challan. There is no fee for the reserved category candidates.
How to apply for SSC Exam 2013:  The candidates can apply on both ways offline or online.
  • Online application: Go the main website of the SSC i.e. www.ssconline.nic.in and fill the application form submit it then print out in duplicate the receipt and registration number.
  • Offline Application: Download the application form print it out on A-4 sized paper and fill all the required column. Send it to the address of SSC with required documents.
Selection Procedure: The written exam will be held by SSC and then interview. The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in written test and interview.
  • Syllabus for written examination: General intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, English and Hindi.
  • Examination Pattern: Each paper will be of 25 marks and contain 25 questions. Total duration for the exam will be of 2 hours. All questions will be of objective multiple choice types.
Important Dates:
  • The last date to apply for the post is 11th Jan, 2013 for part -2 and for part-1 is 9thJan, 2013.
  • Advertisement date is 15th Dec, 2012.
  • The date for written examination is 12th May, 2013.
  • The result will be declared on 30th Sept, 2013.
